Our one and only product is our little tote bag which we utilize effectively in our current campaign, to help us keep Nepalese women [who have been rescued from illegal trafficking by the Esther Benjamins Trust] in sustainable employment. These women are being paid a fair wage and are maintaining their dignity.

Our key aim is to celebrate companies and people who are ethical, and do not exploit labor,animals or our environment and who operate within our own core values and mission.

We do this by providing affordable ethical advertising in several ways so creating a complete ethical environment for ethical shoppers,b2b and lifestyle consumers.

Greening up

Being an ethical company means being totally transparent and making sure that all of our suppliers and business associates share our values.
Favorite reading curently is a fantastic book by Paul Allen,Your Ethical Business: How to Plan, Start and Succeed in a Company with a Conscience and we can't recomend it highly enough for those of you who want either to set up an ethical business or to make ethical changes to your current business.

Energy supplier:
Ecotricity supplies all of our electrical energy in our home and in our office because they re-invest £1 for £1 in wind power as a renewable energy source.

Green Web hosting:
We are have now become a 100% wind powered website thanks to Make Hay's green web hosting.

Banking:
Currently applying to change our accounts to the Co-Operative bank due to their great ethical policies and commitment to the environment.

Wholesale supplier:
Hatti-trading supplies with our tote bags and we are confident that she operates as a socially conscious business selling fairly traded products. Hatti Trading supports humanitarian organisations directly and indirectly. Hatti Trading already accredited as a Fair Trade Importer by BAFTS (British Association of Fair Trade Shops)and the Ethical Junction. Emma Triplett the founder also intends to register Hatti Trading as a Fair Trade Organization with IFAT, but the company must be in operation for a long minimum trading period before an application can be made.

Office:
We only ever use recycled paper for our stationery. We are currently seeking business cards suppliers who use vegetable dyes for their printing work.

We know you respect our environment just as much as we do so we are partnering from May 2008 with the World Land Trust, offsetting all of our emissions whilst constantly striving to reduce them.

During 2007 as a CarbonNeutral Company,we offset our Co2 emissions by supporting a sustainable forestry project in Wales, and a project developing methane capture technology in the US.
